Story
Hi there!
As you may know my little granddaughter Edwina has been diagnosed and treated for Neuroblastoma. Currently she is doing well and we hope she is cured. She was diagnosed a few days after her 2nd birthday and underwent 18/12 of grueling treatment. She starts school at the beginning of next year. I did not think we would see that day.
Through research and the addition of double stem cell transplants and immunotherapy the cure rate has increased form 50% to 70%.
Medical Services SA has decided to support Neuroblastoma Australia to raise funds to find a cure for this terrible disease instead of a Kris Kringle gift this year. Every little bit helps.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
Thanks so much for your support!
Neuroblastoma Australia
Neuroblastoma is a devasting childhood cancer with the average age of diagnosis being just two years old. With survival of rates for aggressive neuroblastoma at only 50%, this disease claims more lives of children under the age of five than any other cancer.
We don’t need a miracle; just more research.
Neuroblastoma Australia, is a registered charity founded by families with children affected by the disease and has raised over $1.7 million for research into a cure for this complex cancer which almost exclusively affects young children.
You can make a difference. Help raise funds for research into more effective and less toxic treatments for neuroblastoma today.
